I’ve added your blog to Stumbleupon – no idea how to let you know I’ve done it but I have.

Would really love to win this so I can go and visit my daughter & grandson over in Newcastle – due to health problem I can’t make it there and back in a day or 2 have to stop over, she doesn’t have room for us to stay ( well I’m not going to kick her out of her bed) so we have to use hotels, these can be expensive and as my husband has now had to stop work to be my carer money is tight.
Not making it a sob story, just explaining why I’m entering. Would be lovely for us all to have a few days away together, leave the money worries at home!

Great competition prize, my favourite christmas film has to be Miracle on 34th Street, already seen it 3 times already

  141. Sarah December 22, 2011 at 10:04 pm #

My favourite Christmas film is Miracle on 34th street, the reason for this is that it keeps the christmas magic alive that little bit longer for children who are getting older and starting to doubt there is a father christmas. It also has given me a fantastic memory, my son, last year, a week before christmas got the bus with me to town and a gentleman got on the bus that looked just like father christmas in the film (in his everyday clothes), cane coat and everything. My son could not control himself and he asked the man if he was father christmas, the gentleman told him that indeed he was and to keep it secret. He was so happy, this year he has remembered and talks of it often.

Without a doubt, my favourite Christmas film is ‘It’s a wonderful life’.
