From the makers of Peppa Pig and the producers of the two hugely successful Peppa Pig theatre tours comes the first ever stage version of the BAFTA award-winning TV animation, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom.

The Little Kingdom – where everyone is very, very small – is home to Princess Holly and her best friend Ben Elf. Holly is a young fairy princess who is still learning how to do magic properly and sometimes her spells don’t work out quite right. Ben is an Elf. In this exciting new musical adventure, Ben and Holly have fun and games helping Gaston clean up his messy cave; they go on a trip to The Big World with tooth-fairy Nanny Plum; and still have time to plan a surprise for King Elf’s birthday party, complete with an unplanned jelly flood.

Packed full of games, songs and laughter, this is an enchanting and magical visit to the Little Kingdom, live on stage for the very first time. This beautiful story of elves, princesses and childhood innocence will delight all the family.

#Win Family Tickets For The Fabulous Lollibop Festival

10 Jul

20120710-140455.jpg

It’s almost that time again for this years Big Bash For Little People… The amazing Lollibop.

I’ve seriously been looking forward to next months Lollibop Festival, so much so, there is a danger that I’m more excited about it than the children.

Myself and sister attended last years event along with our toddlers. I have stored away in my mind, the wonderful memory that was the look on my little Harley’s face when he came face to face with all his idols such as Bob the Builder, George Pig and Raster Mouse to name just a few.

Last week I posted an update on this years line up and if you’ve already checked it out then you will know where I’m coming from when I declare it be… Totally Fabulous and worth getting extremely excited about.

Last year, I found that despite the festival heaving with little partygoers everyone got well looked after. The festival is totally accessible for those with disabilities, it even has a raised platform with wheelchair access. which has been directed towards the main stage. This therefore means everyone gets to see their favourite children’s characters over the sea of heads which is formed the crowd. This doesn’t just apply to those in wheelchairs but also those children with autism or sensory processing disorder who cant do the whole crowd thing (normally resulting in meltdowns). Despite the fact little man didn’t attend last year I was confident that the lollibop was ensuring all children and families the time of their lives.

20120710-140543.jpg

There is just so much to do and see while attending Lollibop that if I went through everything this post would simply never end.

20120710-140653.jpg

So… Below I have posted a mini update highlighting some of the exciting surprises in store for this years little festival goers.

If You like what you read and I can’t see why you wouldn’t then make sure you enter our awesome competition to win some very sought after family tickets to this amazing event!

24 Jun

My toddler Harley really loves the experience of meeting his favourite pre-school characters in the flesh.

His been pretty lucky to meet many, Bob the Builder, Firemen Sam, Peppa Pig, Scooby Doo, just to name a few.

We have been to live stage productions such as “In the Night Garden” and “Peppa Pig” to a number of meet and Greets while attending children’s events.

So, you can imagine the excitement that will be caused when he discovers that Princess Holly and Ben Elf from “Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom” has a live production scheduled to hit the big stage later this year.

20120624-152741.jpg

If you little ones are fans of the Little Kingdom then check out the details below. (Oh and be sure to check out My updates on the event as there will also be the opportunity to try and win yourselves some tickets).

Harley & Peppa Go To Playschool

28 Feb

Oh, we received a rather special gift for the toddler last week. The postman knocked at our door with a very special delivery, in a big white cardboard envelope and addressed to Harley himself.

How excited he was to open the envelope and discover a very special Peppa Pig book! Yes, this wasn’t just any Peppa Pig book, but a personalised Peppa Pig book, titled, “Peppa Pig and Me – Harley and Peppa go to playgroup”

This is a truly special book for a truly special boy

The beautifully presented paperback story book is filled with brilliant personalised touches making it really exciting for little Harley.

This includes cartoon styled illustrations of Harley with Peppa pig, which have been cleverly generated from the details I gave when ordering the book. His name also appears throughout the story.

Harley displayed an almighty smile upon his face as I read him the story of how he spent his first day at playgroup amongst Peppa pig and all her amazing friends. He never lost interest once, keeping his attention throughout the time I was reading.

He was so adorable as he kept nodding his head and saying “Peppa pig hold Harley hand”

I was dead impressed with this book, a Ladybird publication that is beautifully illustrated and worded from start to finish.

It’s easy to order your personalised story which is available from the awesome site Buyagift.com, all you have to do is give a few details that help describe your child’s characteristics, and if desired a small personalised message, which in my opinion makes a lovely touch.

I’d highly recommend this book, and it could prove the perfect alternative to a chocolate egg this Easter.

The book is priced at £14.99, to find out more visit Buyagift.com who sell a huge range of truly unique gift ideas, from personalised books to gift experiences including pampering days which i actually wouldn’t mine this mothers day (though I’m sure the pocket-money of three little ones wouldn’t cover it)! A mum can dream, can’t she:)
