As mentioned, Little man is starting to become a little Lego nuts, which I guess gives us a little time off from the whole topic of buses (through his one true love of buses will never change, I’m sure).
Little man was recently given the chance to get his mitts on the all new DVD Lego Hero Factory, and not only this, we were also offered an extra copy to give away in a competition to one of our lovely readers.
This DVD which would defiantly make a great stocking filler and has already been enjoyed over and over again in our house.
The DVD was officially released by Warner home video on the 24th October and is packed with heroic missions and adventures. Plus the new release also includes a 22 minute bonus featurette entitled Lego Atlantic.
THE PLOT
Alpha team leader Stormer is the best and toughest Hero at the Hero Factory. But years ago, when he was still just a Rookie, he was sent on a dangerous mission. Their leader was wounded and it was up to Stormer and his fellow Rookie, Von Ness, to save the city. But Von Ness deserted him, and Stormer was forced to go into battle alone. He succeeded that day, just like he has on every mission since then, but he still carries around the feeling that something is left unfinished.
Today, a new Rookie team has been assigned to complete their training with Stormer and his crew. As the Heroes begin to work together on their missions, they start to realise that the bad guys they are fighting are working for someone. Someone from Stormer’s past, with an evil agenda to take down the Hero Factory and Stormer himself!

I loved sindy dolls the best and would spend hours dressing them and combing their hair at weekends. Also loved Carrie and Christopher if anyone remembers them as well as my big orange space hopper lol Susie_H on twitter

as we grew up in a farm, most of the time we used to play outside. but rainy days or winter the Lego was definitely my fav. it is so lovely to see our boys have the same interest, but lego has come long way since. best of all, how much patience our older one has ; once he started to build a set, he can’t stop until its done. Love it!
Lego is a memory of a life time! My son and I grew up with the same toy – hard to believe in the computer age.
Lego is one of the few things I enjoy playing with my little man, who is obsessed with it.
I loved Legos as a kid, but did have a favorite brown teddy bear named Fudge. I still have him today, and would pass him on to my boys, but they were not interested. They do LOVE Legos though. 🙂
My favourite toy was the lego fire station, it was bright yellow with red doors and had hundreds of bricks. I used the bricks to make many different buildings…. but always square ones that were symmetrical…..it just had to be that way!
Lego helps my son concentrate to task at hand and he has hours of fun in the process.
My favourite toy was lego, hours of fun making different things @ali991

My favourite toy was a doll that I called ‘BLUE BELLE’ ( i don’t know why). She had a button you could press to hear her heart beat and lovely long brown hair that I could sty.e. Her dress was a red skirt and a silver threaded top, but al the silver wore off because I used to take her to bed with me and so her top ended up a dirty grey colour. I passed her on to my little girl, but she just wasn’t impressed!

I spent most of my time buried in a book, but between books I’d be found at the dining table with a huge pile of Lego bricks. I seemed to be forever building houses – I love the roof tiles.
